Hello, all.
I (finally) finished my PowerPoint presentation, which I have titled, 'The Causes Of Acne'. These slideshows certainly do take a lot of time to prepare - and I haven't even ventured to add video or sound yet!
I hope you enjoy it.
Just click on the FULLSCREEN icon, then click on the right hand arrow to move through slides (I did put in automatic timings but they don't seem to have been copied into my Blog). At the end, click ESCAPE to exit the fullscreen.

Great job Alice, You now have a powerpoint ready to go when you teach - you just never know - at some point you might need to discuss this topic.

Hi Alice,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic PowerPoint slide. Your first slide would get the students going straight up. I think you have touched on some very important aspects of life as a teenager, giving them coping strategies. Your PowerPoint is to the point and interesting and I believe it would engage learners.
Kind regards

Thank you Sally,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that it will be handy to have a repository of powerpoints for when you are on the go during the year. It might be very advantageous to prepare numerous presentations during the school holidays ready for delivery, especially once you know what the current curriculum entails.
Cheers
Alice
Hi Katrina,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments. I definitely think that when preparing just about any topic for students, it is important to touch on how exactly it might affect them individually and how they might make appropriate responses to others in that situation. Social skills are so crucial, not only to success in life, but also happiness and emotional well-being, and to personalise subjects will make them far more engaging and interesting to students.
Thanks again,
Alice
